We were hitting on all cylinders today. In fact, this was the biggest fabrication day we’ve had, with lots of progress made and lots of sparks flying.
Ed, Thelonius, Connor, Sammy, and Gabriel worked on the support frame:
The support frame should be pretty much complete next time, depending on how long it takes to mount the casters to the base.
Last week Joseph and Ed finished the Inventor CAD model of the lower torso. This week, Joseph, with some help form Cole, started construction.
Cole and Gabriel finished designing and laying out the PCB board that will control each of the pneumatic cylinders for the lower torso:
Sometime around the first of the year we should have the lower torso completed and then we’ll be able to determine how hard it will be to walk without falling over.
